Who doesn’t love sausage? Not me that’s for sure! If I had to chose one thing that I secretly could eat with wild abandon it would be fabulous tasting sausages. But come on, let’s be honest most of it really isn’t that great for you!!
So of course the mission was set…. make a healthy low fat sausage that the fam and I could eat for breakfast!
This recipe actually came together very quickly because I knew exactly the flavours I wanted to go with eggs and toast in the morning!
The thing I decided on first was that it had to be made with Blue Goose Pure Foods Organic ground chicken because it’s low fat, tastes incredible and of course it’s great for us! Next addition was the apple which gives a fantastic sweet flavour and a ton of perfect moisture! The next part was simple…aromatics and spices!!
I swear I came up with this recipe and was eating it within 30 minutes. It’s truly so simple and made with everyday “around the house” ingredients (at least a house with some spices in it! :-) )!
We had these with a toasted English muffin and boiled eggs… some of which were turned into Avocado Devilled Eggs for one of my girls!!
Sorry the blog is short today but time seems to be flying by too quickly which makes this the perfect recipe for a day like today!!
